**Overview**:
Technical Lead with 5+ years of experience in leadership and people management, skilled in translating non-technical customer requests into actionable tasks. Familiar with cloud-connect, homeworker VPNs, and multitasking with limited supervision.
**Responsibilities**:
- Guide, coordinate, and support the team in accomplishing its missions
- Ensuring that team members are aligned with the objectives and priorities
- Acting as the point of contact between their team and other teams or stakeholders
- Facilitate communication to prevent silos and resolve any blockers or obstacles that may arise
- Play a role in project management by ensuring deadlines are met, priorities are defined, and resources are properly allocated
- Supporting team members in their personal and professional development by offering advice, providing resources, and motivating them to perform at their best
- Make decisions regarding team priorities, conflict resolution, and technical direction
- Maintain high availability of services with a 24/7 on-call rotation
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure network security aligns with organizational goals
- Lead and manage a team of network security engineers on an operational point of view
- Oversee the technical architecture, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network security systems
- Ensure the operational security of our tier 2 Datacenter, private WAN, local LAN and WLAN setups, cloud-connect, and homeworker VPNs
**Must Have Skills**:
- Master Degree in Computer Science or equivalent through experience (advanced coursework in technical systems, along with ongoing education in technical disciplines, is preferred)
- Leadership and People Managemen skills aligned with over 5 years of professional experience
- Ability to translate incidents and requests from non-technical customers into actionable tasks for the team
- Experienced in cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, and others.
- Familiarity with cloud-connect and homeworker VPNs
- Ability to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
- Experience in a healthcare services environment
- Fluent proficiency in French and Dutch
**Nice to have**:
- Fluent proficiency in English is a big plus
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Quick learner, motivated self-starter
