**Robert Half** is currently recruiting a **Teamlead General Accounting** to join a family-owned company based in **Antwerp**.
Our client is a fast growing pioneer in the roofing, waterproofing and insulation industry.
**The role of the Teamlead General Accounting includes**:
- Leading the GA Accounting Team(s), to ensure good quality and efficient delivery of services, including planning, follow-up on deadlines, assisting the team in technical issues and optimal use of systems, reports and IT tools;
- Review of SSC accounting processes, to identify, and implement process improvements in the SSC accounting processes where appropriate;
- Manage the adoption of accounting process harmonisations, process improvements and implementation of best practices in SSC;
- Review and ensure adequate internal controls are in place for all SSC accounting processes, assist in policy development;
- Ensure that the business meets all group, statutory & tax compliance, business control requirements, policies and deadlines;
- Manage and support ERP system implementation and roll-out for SSC Accounting Departmen;
- Maintain good relations across departments and provide good quality of SSC accounting services to internal customers;
- Maintain and support strong relationships with business leaders/process owners and communicate with them effectively in order to introduce process improvement and change projects in the organization;
- Ensure proper documentary control and filing of all record are in place.
**For successfully performing the role, we are looking for the following competences**:
- You have a Bachelor degree in Accounting;
- You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience;
- You speak Dutch and English fluently (French and/or German are an asset);
- Able to support teamwork, create positive and performance driven culture in teams;
- Your work is accurate and structured.
