Project Support Officer

Salt is currently recruiting for a Project Support Officer, for a Banking client in Brussels. This is a contract role, and would require travel to Brussels once a month for 3/4 days
To realize its objective, the team collaborates across the organisation, with other CISO division teams, Procurement, business teams (eg, Procurement & Commercial) and functions such as IT, Risk Management and Compliance.
Role
To play a part in the improved maturity of the team, an experienced Process and Project Support Officer is required to collaborate to our "continuous improvement' roadmap. In your role, your key responsibilities are the following:
- Documentation of E2E processes & governance. This includes:
- Creation of Standard Operating Procedure - SOP
- Process Flow
- Creation of temples (ie standards rapports, questioners, etc.)
- Working Instruction
- Translate controls into actionable requirements. Write business requirements of a solution that will support day-to-day activity.
- Project support activities (ie management of actions plans, creation of governance meeting packs and minutes, etc.)
- In this context, you'll also
- Gather information from a large group of IT & Business stakeholders.
- Present the outcome of your analysis to those stakeholders in a clear & assertive manner.
Technical & Functional skills
- Education: Bachelor/Master's degree (Computer Science, Information Security or Business Science).
- Documentation of processes and procedures
- Elaboration of Business & Functional requirements.
- Project support
- Knowledge and/or experience in financial services is mandatory.
- Demonstrating practical knowledge of business analysis methodology (BPMN, UML, business requirements writing, User stories writing ) is a plus.
- Broad knowledge of Information Security & IT security is a plus.
- Languages: English (Fluent), Being fluent in French and/or Dutch is a plus.
Soft skills:
- Can translate complex topics in a clear, comprehensive communication to broad audience.
- Have excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
- Have excellent stake-holder management skills, and you can communicate at various seniority levels including Senior Management and technical experts.
- Like working with different people and have strong oral and written communication skills.
- Are accurate, timely and able to organise yourself independently. You have strong attention to details.
- Like to work in team, to coordinate and you can adapt your approach depending on your counterpart
