At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a **Operating System Deployment and Update Expert**to join our UniQue team in Brussels.
**What will you be doing in this role?**
- Define and implement procedures for administrative support solutions using M365, SharePoint Online, and ServiceNow.
- Develop and execute migration plans for transferring services and assets.
- Ensure successful service migration and smooth operations by supporting stakeholders.
- Monitor daily operations, provide management reports, and suggest optimizations for both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure (IaaS/PaaS) as solutions (SaaS).
- Collaborate with IT teams and departments to ensure efficient IT provisioning.
- Assist business analysts and developers with cloud technology and data management solutions.
- Design secure and scalable systems for deploying and patching operating systems on-premise and in the cloud.
- Optimize solutions to prevent network overload during remote work.
- Prepare hybrid environments (on-prem, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) for scalability and flexibility.
- Integrate endpoint security solutions into computer systems.
- Manage IT projects for workplace infrastructure improvements.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure collaboration and alignment.
**Requirements**:
**What will you be bringing to the team?**
- Hold a Master’s Degree
- Have a minimum 12 years of experience, including 3 years in a similar position.
- Hold the following certifications:
- ITIL certification
- Prince2
- Azure Fundamentals or above
- A minimum **4 years** **of experience** in Digital Workplace Platforms**:M365**, **SharePoint**, **Confluence**and **end user assistance/support** for dedicated information systems.
- In-depth understanding of the **M365 architecture** and operations management.
- Strong knowledge of **Solutions Architecture**, **zero-trust security**, **operating solutions**and **services management in** **private/public cloud environments**.
- Familiarity with **Windows** and **Linux** operating systems.
- Understanding of cloud services (**M365**, **Azure**, **AWS,**SaaS Providers) related to systems management, security, business continuity and data protection management.
- Proficiency with **on premise Microsoft server**technologies.
- Experience with **remote working solution** based on **VPN** or other technologies.
- Familiarity with **Directory**, **Identity/Authentication**and **federation protocols.**:
- Expertise with **PKI** and **Encryption solution.**:
- Competence in managing, operating and monitoring IT services and assets across technology stack, including **access rights management.**:
- Knowledge of **ITIL** practices for services life cycle management.
- Experience with **service management tools** (e.g. SMT, JIRA, ServiceNow and similar)
- Proficiency in English (C1 level) and French (C1 level).
- Proficiency in German (B-level) is considered an advantage.
