We are seeking an experienced consultant and manager with interest and exposure to climate change and energy transition, and with the passion to help growing our Strategic Sustainability Consulting business. The lead consultant joining our team will have the opportunity to develop their portfolio of ambitious clients while developing his/her consulting skills and thought leadership profile.

You will join our growing Strategic Sustainability Consulting division in Ramboll Management Consulting. As a lead consultant / manager, you will work with diverse global clients across a range of industries. You will have a variety of client-facing responsibilities such as preparing and pitching proposals, analysing data, interviewing client staff and stakeholders, formulating recommendations, and helping clients implement proposed solutions.
**You will join our Strategic Sustainability Consulting division in Belgium**
You will be part of a dynamic and growing department with a high professional drive and strong collaborative spirit. Our multidisciplinary team works across various sustainability domains including Climate, Energy, Environment, Infrastructure, Buildings, Sustainable Cities, and Just transition. We provide consultancy services to the public and non-profit sector, utilities, infrastructure, and real estate. Based in Brussels, we work closely with the EU institutions, and we are the forefront of international efforts to prevent and mitigate the effects of climate change.
**Your key responsibilities** **will include**:
- Lead: drive our vision, strategy, and sector focus in energy transition, for public sector clients (EU institutions and international organisations) as well as industries and utilities in Belgium, France and globally
- Develop: grow sales pipelines in line with your current expertise and client portfolio; in collaboration with colleagues across Ramboll, design innovative solutions and implement new sales pipelines that build on Ramboll's unique value proposition of bringing together thought leadership and technical excellence on sustainability and energy transition
- Deliver: as lead adviser and project director for consultancy projects across a variety of sectors, support clients in assessing, integrating, implementing, monitoring, and delivering energy security and low carbon strategies, in line with EU policies and international commitments
- Acquire: Support Ramboll's knowledge and thought leadership in energy strategy and planning, renewable energy, system integration, green hydrogen & power to x, carbon capture, utilisation and storage
- Grow: manage and grow a team; establish a strong energy capability that allows Ramboll to demonstrate the value of sustainability solutions to clients

From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development to enable your growth with the company and in the fast-evolving field of sustainability. For this role, we believe your starting point will be a mix of some, if not all, of the following qualifications:
- Master's degree in business administration, economics, energy engineering, sustainability studies or similar
- 10 years of total experience, with demonstrated consulting experience or similar experience in developing and maintaining client relationships, pursuing and creating business opportunities, and managing multiple projects under high quality requirements and tight deadlines
- Detailed knowledge of the EU strategies, policy and funding instruments in climate and energy
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently in an international and remote environment
- Self-assured critical thinker, able to quickly understand the basics of a topic and distil down complex ideas into digestible narratives
- Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written
