Within the FIN Controlling NBU department, we are looking for a Finance Manager.
**Role Objective**:
NEO, at the core of the Network Business Unit (NBU), is responsible for deploying and maintaining Proximus’ fixed and mobile networks. This large division (920 FTEs) faces the enormous challenge of rolling out a brand-new network (fiber) while also absorbing a reduction in workforce and achieving cost savings.
As the FIN Business Partner for this division, you will support NEO management in achieving its efficiency objectives, various planning exercises (Summer R&O, Fall plan, Budget, etc.), and actively participate in variance analysis during monthly closings as well as different Rolling Forecasts. You will also participate in management meetings with the NEO Leadership Team.
**Your Mission**:
- To gain solid financial knowledge, you will develop an understanding of all the division’s activities (Fixed, Fiber, Backbone, Transformation, etc.).
- You will be responsible for supporting/challenging NEO members to achieve their financial objectives (efficiencies, workforce analysis, Direct Opex, etc.).
- You will ensure the financial consolidation of the various budgeting exercises (reconciliation between top-down and bottom-up).
- In collaboration with the business and Accounting, you will conduct variance analysis during the monthly closing.
- You will respond to various ad hoc requests (FIN opinion, participation in Procurement discussions, etc.).
Your Profile
- You hold a Master's degree in Economics/Business Management.
- You have at least ten years of experience in financial processes.
- You possess strong modeling skills in Excel.
- You can work autonomously and are capable of managing tense discussions.
- You are technically curious and eager to expand your area of expertise.
- You are rigorous, conscientious, and meticulous.
- You are client-oriented and problem-solving focused.
- You maintain a positive attitude and work well within a team.
- You demonstrate integrity and trust when handling confidential information.
- You have a good command of French, Dutch, and English.
