**About the role**:
Fresh from our recent Series A, we’re looking for an Accounting Manager to scale our accounting department.
As Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for structuring, managing, monitoring and improving the Group's administrative and financial processes, from accounting to financial reporting, for the various Group entities.
You’ll be working closely with our Chief of Staff to produce reliable financial data for our reporting.
**As our Accounting Manager at Thynk, you will**:
**Accounting and analytics**
- Structure and manage accounting processes
- Manage and control invoices (customer/supplier) and cash flow monitoring
- Up-to-date accounting with external partners (data entry / lettering / bank reconciliations)
- Supervision and maintenance of analytical accounting
- Scaling of accounting department (currently one person team)
**Administrative and financial reporting**
- Production of monthly financial reports (including cutt-offs / provisions in collaboration with other teams and CEO)
- Analysis and implementation of control points to ensure reliable reporting/closings
- Ad-hoc support for budget monitoring production
**Optimisation of accounting tools/processes - preparation for growth**
- Lead, deploy and monitor continuous improvement of internal finance processes or those intended for other teams (expense validation, invoice processing/collection flows, key supplier control points, etc.), to support the growth
- Select, implement and monitor tool requirements / optimisations or tech automations for the Finance department
- Analysis and/or ad-hoc project management of priority bottlenecks
**Legal-administrative support - compliance & ad-hoc project management**
- Coordinate and manage external stakeholders (CAC / EC / Banks / advisors)
- Lead and secure the closing of each entity, including intercos
- Manage legal, administrative and tax obligations
- Ad-hoc support for Group growth (Financing, International, M&A, etc.)

- _You have 4-6 years of experience in accounting in SMB's or accounting firm_
- _A good knowledge of legal, accounting and financial aspects (especially for our Belgian parent company and French subsidiary) _
- You are process-driven and tool-oriented_
- _You’re fluent in English_

- _Speak French_
- _Have a good understanding of legal and financial aspects in the US_
