**About Qargo**:
Qargo is a tech start-up with offices based in London and Ghent (Belgium). We’re on a mission to transform the transportation industry by making it more efficient, profitable, and sustainable. We are building the most user-friendly and intuitive Transport Management System (TMS) on the market that automates administrative processes and optimizes planning. To achieve our mission and support our growth, we’re looking for a Product Owner.
**As a Product Owner at Qargo you'll**:
- ** Report directly to the CEO** and work closely with him to translate the CEO vision into an **executable roadmap** for our Transport Management System.
- Communicate regularly with our **customers to understand their existing workflows**, identify opportunities for time-saving improvements, and determine where Qargo can contribute and optimize. _(Note that we currently target smaller transport providers and want to go upmarket, so it will be important that you help identify the right product priorities and work towards easy-to-understand solutions.)_
- ** Partner with our support, onboarding, and sales teams** to collect **product feedback** and feature requests. You will need to write them out, analyze, and prioritize them, as well as set the short, mid, and long-term goals of our product.
- Work closely with our **engineering, sales, and customer success/support** teams to design, prototype, and build the best solutions for our customers.
**Your profile**:
- You have around **3-5 years of experience** in a product-related function.
- ** Master complexity**: you can quickly learn a wide range of product functionalities and understand the needs of our diverse customer base, particularly in industries like **logistics or transport**.
- ** Product management experience with a UX background**: you care about building user-friendly solutions that solve customer problems without requiring training.
- ** Prioritization**: you can balance large and small-scale initiatives against day-to-day maintenance and bug fixes.
- ** Communication**: you’re able to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences alike; you are humble when sharing ideas with everyone on the team. English is essential, and Dutch is a strong plus.
- ** Customer obsessed**: our customers are non-technical and they don’t have time for training and reading manuals. They want a user-friendly solution that can support complex planning scenarios in an intuitive way.
- ** Attention to detail**: you are inquisitive and want to dive deep into any problem and understand the underlying mechanics.
- ** Impact focused**: you have a strong desire to see your work result in changes across our company, leading to significant business impact.
- You are **fluent in both English and Dutch**; French is a big plus
