Wij zijn momenteel op zoek naar een GIS Support Specialist om ons GIS-team te versterken. Deze rol biedt een unieke kans voor diegenen die gepassioneerd zijn over geografische informatiesystemen (GIS) en hun vaardigheden willen toepassen in een uitdagende en lonende omgeving.

**Jouw Verantwoordelijkheden**:

- Ontsluiten van geodata in het GIS-platform (DOV taskmanager)
- Aanmaak van metadata via GeoNetwork
- Aanmaak en configuratie van MapStore geoloketten
- Ondersteuning van de business met GIS-analyses
- Samenwerken met cross-functionele teams om bedrijfsvereisten te begrijpen en passende oplossingen te bieden
- Documenteren van het ontwikkelingsproces voor toekomstige referentie en audits
- Blijven up-to-date met de nieuwste trends in GIS-tools en industrie best practices
- Kennisdeling binnen het team bevorderen door middel van presentaties of workshops over nieuwe bevindingen of technologieën gerelateerd aan GIS
- Problemen oplossen die zich voordoen tijdens de ontwikkeling of implementatie van GIS-oplossingen

**Jouw Profiel**:
De ideale kandidaat is een recent afgestudeerde met een sterke passie voor geografische informatiesystemen (GIS). Je moet continu bereid zijn om nieuwe dingen te leren en effectief kunnen werken als onderdeel van een divers team.
- Een bachelor’s degree in geografie, informatica, ingenieurswetenschappen of een gerelateerd vakgebied is vereist; een master’s degree is een pluspunt
- Bekendheid met GIS-tools zoals QGIS en ArcMap
- Ervaring met PostgreSQL - PostGIS databases, S3 buckets & FileServers, GeoServers, MapStore, en FME Server
- Goede kennis van datastructuren, datamodellering en softwarearchitectuur
- Een analytische mindset met probleemoplossende vaardigheden
- Vermogen om complexe softwareproblemen op te lossen
- Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden om effectief samen te werken met teamleden en stakeholders
- In staat om zowel zelfstandig als in een teamomgeving te werken
- Uitstekende schriftelijke en mondelinge communicatievaardigheden in het Nederlands
- Minimaal 1 tot 7 jaar ervaring
