All of this is taking shape in increasingly cloud-oriented environments (AWS/Azure). As such, it is essential to ensure that all this information is processed in a secure manner for our customers, brokers, partners and employees.
In this context, we are looking for a Data Protection Expert
Your role
- Accountable for overseeing, measuring, and driving efforts to systematically increase, maturity and effectiveness of Data Leakage Prevention and (Unstructured) Data Protection processes and controls for AXA Belgium.
- Gains and helps maintain SecurityOffice team’s end-to-end understanding of relevant AXA Belgium landscape and its evolution (O365 setup, data governance/processes/flows/repositories, business processes, workplace, inbound/outbound channels,).
- Engages with global and local data protection product owners and operational security teams, and collaborates closely with all relevant functions across AXA Belgium including Data Office, IT Workplace, HR & Communications.
- Provides deep security expertise
, including piloting new data protection measures
, as part of local initiatives or in context of rolling-out new Group-provided capabilities.
- Ensures assurance & evidences for the formal security control objectives in this area, and contributes accordingly to overall AXA Belgium security assessments (ISO27K, regulatory, and Group Security).
- Identifies gaps
in overall data protection and data leakage prevention setup and approach, and details and drives security risk reduction activities (incl. project mgmt. of local initiatives and/or roll-out of Group initiatives).
- Produces clear management-level presentations
giving comprehensible view on current AXA Belgium’s security posture/risks related to data protection and data leakage prevention, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Can work autonomously
and proactively, involving CSO and SecurityOffice colleagues, and strongly contributing to one overall Security Team voice in the organization, in partnership with Business & IT.
**Your Profile**
**Profile**:
- Ideally, you have a Master's degree in IT / Security
- You have at least two years' experience in the field of data protection
- You have a good capacity to manage several projects
at the same time, and you have a strategic vision of security-related aspects.
- You work independently and can perform several tasks at the same time.
- You are detail-oriented
and have a strong work ethic.
- You are a problem solver and have excellent analytical skills.
- Knowledge of
ISO 27001 is an added advantage.
- You are fluent in English and one of the two national languages (French/Dutch).
