**Skills, knowledge, experience required**:

- A university degree in Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent experience to a Master's degree;
- Former experience in NCIA, thorough knowledge of NCIA project management processes, and conversant with NATO Policy and procurement procedures(asset);
- Experience as a project manager in CIS projects (3 years) or experience as a project team leader (3 years);
- Deployable to operational theatres on short notice, for a limited period of time;
- Experience in:

- Managing, planning, design, system engineering and implementation of military or other communication and information systems;
- Working in an international environment, comprising both military and civilian staff;
- Knowledge and experience in state-of-the-art technologies, relevant to the work;
- Thorough knowledge and experience with Microsoft Project or Service Now;
- A formal qualification in project management and management techniques (Prince2, Scrum, PMP);
- Proven ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with good briefing skills, in English;
- Ability to:

- Operate under time pressure and autonomously, and able to multitask continuously;
- Independently produce project documentation in English, including price proposals and Statements of Work;
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders (including customers);
- Learn new procedures and terminology quickly;
- .Excellent English skills: 4343 STANAG 6001.

**Desirable**:

- Familiarity with Agile Product Creation Process (e.g., Scrum).

**Duties/role**:

- Executing projects or individual work packages assigned by NISC (Service Design and Service Transition activities) - in close cooperation with the relevant service area (and SAO) when applicable - according to schedule, budget and quality requirements; from start-up to closure;
- Producing high quality deliverables including price proposals and Statements of Work;
- Executing the capture of the user requirements, the development of solicitation documentation (RFQ, IFB) in coordination with other relevant departments, the execution of the solicitation/competition phase in coordination with ACQ, the execution of the project, and finally the Service Transition into operations;
- Interacting with internal and external stakeholders, including Contractors and NATO organizations;
- Following-up project execution: documentation review, testing, delivery etc.;
- Acting as team member for large projects; in particular to support the project manager for any relevant duties;
- Being ready to act independently either as Test, Migration, Requirements, or Implementation Manager;
- Supporting project manager and other project team members as required;
- Travelling to other NATO locations, including operational theatre;
- Adhering to NCIA guidance and directives, and more generally NATO Standards;
- Performing any other duties as mandated by line manager.
