Infrastructure Specialist

3‑it is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Infrastructure Specialist to join the team. Your core task is the daily management of the IT environment of the customers and of 3‑it itself. You are responsible for installing and configuring the backend infrastructure, make sure it becomes operational and discuss possible areas for improvement with the customer.

- Overseeing the daily management of both our customers’ IT environments and 3‑it’s own systems.
- Installing systems within the IT environment and ensuring they are fully operational.
- Serving as the key point of contact for communication with external customers’ system administrators and end users to prevent disruptions.
- Diagnosing issues based on feedback from end users and your own analysis.
- Proactively and critically assessing the customer’s IT environment and providing improvement recommendations at the right time.
- Taking charge of installing and configuring the backend infrastructure.
- Maintaining clear and thorough documentation.

**Who are you?**:

- 5 - 10 years of proven work experience in a similar role is required.
- A relevant education degree.
- Strong advisory skills.
- Microsoft and VMware certifications are a plus.
- Solid understanding of network protocols and LAN/WAN architectures.
- Familiarity with Prince2 and ITIL frameworks.
- Excellent analytical skills.
