**Samenvatting**:
For our client (area Brussels), we are looking for a passionate IT Project Manager. You'll be in charge of executing projects, and you'll be accountable for maintaining the progress and the productive interactions with the stakeholders.
**Over de functie**:
As Project Manager, you're responsible for project planning, execution management as well closing the projects.
**Project Planning**:
- Review the project Initiation Document (PID) to ensure accuracy at the start of the project
- Formulate an adapted project plan to reach the project objectives and benefits within the defined frame
- Identify detailed project team, resources and allocation - Engage stakeholders and define roles and responsibilities
- Define a communication strategy between project stakeholders and set up project governance and instances & indicate applicable quality procedures (issue management, risk management, escalation management, deliverables acceptance)
**Execution Management**:
- Organize and hold project execution kick-off meeting - Ensure commitment to the project from project team members, customers or stakeholders
- Execute the project plan from planning to closing - Organize, coordinate and lead the project team and activities & Ensure the quality
- Manage resources, develop schedules and individual responsibilities to perform project activities
- Supervise suppliers in charge of project activities, manage relationships with the suppliers
- Supervise and monitor project progress against project plan. Pilot and manage project costs and budget
- Analyse and manage project risks and issues, implement risk management plan
**Project closing**:
- Coordinate the activities of all project team members & Ensure the circulation and distribution of information
- Use project management tool to track performance and schedule adherence
- Work with and report to program manager to manage project interdependencies
- Provide regular updates on project status, risks, progress and KPIs to the Portfolio Management Officer

- You are in possession of a University/Master’s degree or equivalent
- You have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- You have a solid experience in IT Project Management, in Risk Management
- You are fully up-to-date with the latest processes, methodologies and tools & Spend Management
- You have strong communication skills in Dutch / Flemish, French and English
- You manage ambiguity, ensure accountability & advise the best practices in project management
- You collaborate & communicate effectively you are result & quality oriented, structured in collaboration with different stakeholders
- You build effective teams and are a real team player
