Job Purpose:
The Agility Inventory Planner serves as the primary liaison between Merchandise, Merchandise Planning, the local SSM team, and Regional Planners. This role supports the seamless execution of the end-to-end strategy at the store/customer level. The Agility Planner is responsible for managing both local and global Agility strategies, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders and optimizing inventory flow to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Coordination: Act as the bridge between local teams and regional planners to align on strategies and inventory needs, ensuring that the Agility strategy is executed effectively at all levels. Collaborate with the Inventory Management Lead and Manager to report on KPI’s including revenue, product delays,...
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory planning, allocation, and replenishment to support local and global Agility strategies, ensuring product availability and stock optimization at store/Customer level.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Merchandise, Sales and Merchandise Planning teams to monitor trends, sales performance, and inventory levels to adjust plans in real-time. Define GTM calendar together with Merchandise taking into consideration supply chain capabilities and Lead-time
- Forecasting & Analysis: Analyse inventory performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide actionable insights to enhance efficiency and optimize stock levels. Responsible for order entry close follow-up to ensure on time delivery of the supply vs. First on Floor.
- Execution Support: Support the timely and efficient execution of the Agility strategy, ensuring that it is aligned with both global objectives and local market needs. Recommend exception management activities.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on the success of the Agility strategy, making recommendations for adjustments as needed to meet business goals. Monitor and challenge supply, timely review of Supply vs. Demand gap, analyse and report on potential ship risk.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with best practices and industry trends to recommend enhancements and drive continuous improvements in inventory planning and strategy execution.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience)
Experience:
- 3-5 years’ experience in Inventory planning, retail operations, Merchandise planning or supply chain
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, from regional planning to store/door-level execution.
- Knowledge of global and local retail markets and strategies.
- Experience with inventory management tools and forecasting software.
Specialized Knowledge/Technical Skills:
- Technical proficiency with computer software tools and the ability to learn new ones quickly (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, SAP & Business Intelligence)
Decision Making and Problem solving:
- Strong analytical/problem solving capabilities including the ability to quickly identify and communicate implications from consumer, internal and marketplace information
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
- Ability to use analytical tools to issue, support, and execute decisions
Communication
- Ability to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad, diverse group of business partners, mainly the cross-functional team
- Ability to influence cross-functional partners and reports
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong listening and interpersonal skills
