De Tester zorgt voor het testen van nieuwe of aangepaste applicatiecode, en verifieert (1) of
de user story en functionele analyse volledig en ondubbelzinnig zijn, (2) of de opgeleverde
code correct de gevalideerde specificaties respecteert en (3) of de opgeleverde code in alle
omstandigheden correct werkt.
De Tester stelt een volledige (nodige en voldoende) set van test cases op die alle relevante
situaties afdekken om te garanderen dat een nieuwe of aangepaste applicatie werkt zoals
afgesproken.
De Tester voert de relevante testen uit (end-to-end testen, regressietesten, en eventueel
andere testen).
Belangrijkste taken:
- De Tester valideert functionele analyses: zijn alle mogelijke gevallen (zowel ‘happy flow’ als
uitzonderingssituaties) in voldoende mate ondubbelzinnig gespecificeerd.
- De Tester stelt testcases op en voert ze uit.
- De Tester voert testen (inclusief regressietesten) uit en documenteert de testresultaten; je
escaleert ‘defects’ naar de betrokken analisten en Agile Teams.
- De Tester volgt de gemelde defects op en test ze opnieuw indien nodig.
- De Tester verifieert de kwaliteit en de conformiteit van opgeleverde implementaties (en dus conformiteit van de US aan de acceptatiecriteria)
