Controlling Lead Bnl

You will manage a team of 6 (4 of which are direct reports) of varying levels, comprising of a Sales Controller in both BE and NL, two analysts to support these roles, a cluster supply Controller and a Productivity finance manager.
This role has end to end management of the commercial P&L for BNL, with a focus on driving growth from insights on trade investment, customer and brand performance. The Head of Controlling BNL directly supports the BNL General manager and is a key part of the BNL and Finance leadership teams.
**The Head of Controlling BNL**:
- Partners with the Management team as well as BNL Sales and Cluster Supply teams to drive the performance of the business and optimise Net Revenue, Commercial Contribution and Net Working Capital
- Creates a strong working relationship both cross functionally and at the various levels of management (France and Belgium)
- Leads, motivates, and inspires a team of 6 people to ensure that they are developed and challenged in their roles to maximise their potential
- Drives insightful analyses to identify business opportunities including being a key owner of the productivity process, generating ideas and supporting the business to create optimisation and saving opportunities.
- Delivers value enhancement projects including pricing, portfolio mix, marketing and promo ROI, overheads reduction, etc.
- Supports FP&A team on the strategic planning processes, including official plans and forecasts, and customer plans
- Involves in financial areas of monthly operating model for the cluster, with high focus on performance reviews and S&OP process, continuously improving business awareness of financials
- Ensures accurate controls on balance sheet, with monthly reviews with team and accounting manager for accruals (trade investment, cogs and overheads), taking action where needed and having a clear view on risks and opps
- Guarantees the financial integrity and timeliness of the financial reporting within team, including optimisation and simplification of reporting where possible
**PROFILE**
The Head of controlling BNL has a minimum of 6 years pro experience, a good commercial finance background, with previous experience of full P&L ownership. You also have a recognised accounting qualification and degree. You need to possess methodical business planning capabilities coupled with high level of effective communication skills, written and verbal, and in person and virtual. You should have good experience of team and stakeholder management and be able to manage a high capacity of work. The head of controlling BNL will have good ability to influence, as well as high standard of personal and business presentational skills.
