**All about the role**
As our (Junior) Data Analyst for Belgium and Luxembourg, you produce and present vital insights for the region, using our central database warehouse (DWH). Your shared focus is to collect quantitative and qualitative data and prepare, analyse and transform data models into insights.
Delivering accurate, timely and complete information to support decision-making for the two markets, you report into and share your operational insights with the Senior Data Analyst. Using your market expertise, you're skilled in identifying trends and conducting effective market research.
As our Data analyst, it's also your responsibility to:
- Use available reports & dashboards for your initial information requests
- Utilise your tactical and strategic insights by sharing them
- Collaborate with the central team to develop new strategic insights
- Identify new developments in BA tools & techniques available in the marketplace
- Integrate insights from available data and new developments & proactively provide advice based on these
- Lead less-defined assignments: typically requiring extensive systems integration, large teams & multiple technical issues, multiple stakeholders and projects with potential business risks
- Conduct a complete diagnosis of complex business problems, factoring in business processes and anticipating implementation obstacles
- Take a leading role in creating and implementing analysis systems, methods & techniques together with the Senior Data Analyst
**Can you deliver**
**Here are the skills and experience we need from you**:
- 1+ year of relevant experience with BI/analytics and strong business acumen
- Business consulting experience
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and languages such as Tableau, Amazon Redshift SQL, Google Big Query. The knowledge of Python is a plus.
- Strong influencing and persuasion skills with real credibility
- Able to build an in-depth understanding of our business and KPIs
- An analytical, proactive and results-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy in all areas of your job
- Anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders
- Cultivate innovation & identify ways to grow our market share in Belgium and Luxembourg
- Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions
- Able to make sense of complex, high-quantity and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems
- Optimise work processes, identifying the most effective ways to deliver continuous improvement
- Fluent English. The knowledge of French or Dutch (written & spoken) is a plus.
