Experlogix is looking for a Product Owner for its document automation software. In this role you represent the voice of the customer throughout the different stages of product materialization, as the perfect link between the Product Management and the Development team. As a Product Owner you maintain the product backlog and document requirements in user stories with acceptance criteria. You will work within a Scaled Agile Framework environment (SAFe) and attend triage, grooming, planning, retrospective, and demo sessions. You work with Development teams located in Belgium and Bulgaria.
**Responsibilities**
- Work with Product Management, second and third-line Client Support Engineers, Tech Leads and the Quality Assurance team to feed the product backlogs.
- Plan PIs (Program Increments) and prioritize and prepare work items with clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Team up with designers from the UX team to create a phenomenal user experience.
- Refine work to be done with the development teams.
- Follow up on development progress and manage scope flexibility while safeguarding timely delivery of high-priority plans.
- Partner with the QA team in validating that all finished work meets the acceptance criteria.
- Participate in retrospective meeting.
- Prepare and present PI demos to all stakeholders.
- Contribute to great documentation with Technical Writers of the Knowledge Team.
- Assist the Training department in creating training materials for new features.
- Check-in with other POs to coordinate dependencies and seize opportunities to collaborate.
- Optimize the relationship with your dev squad’s development manager and technical lead to ensure our development teams remain in top shape.
- Cooperate with the Product Manager to contribute to the product vision, product strategy, value streams and long-term roadmap.
**Required skills**
- Over 4 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or in a similar role, preferably working for a business software vendor.
- Comfortable learning new software, willing to become a product expert.
- Objective and evidence based.
- Self-motivated, quick learner and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Dutch or Bulgarian is a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
- Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.

**Location**
You will work remotely and in our Belgian office in Sint-Niklaas in a hybrid setup. You report to the Document Automation Product Manager, who is based in Belgium.
