In our Shared Services center we are now looking for a Manager Controlling and Accounting BELUX with several years of experience to lead a team of 7 finance experts serving Belgium and Luxembourg. You will play a key role working closely with the finance teams onsite and in the offshore service center. You report into the Finance Director.
**Responsibilities**:
- Monthly financial closing and reporting process of 2 legal entities
- Lead the IFRS reporting towards Headquarters
- Deliver annual budget and monthly rolling forecast for the Shared Services, analyze and explain variances
- Oversee the preparation and filing of the annual accounts, income tax return and monthly VAT returns
- Be the first point of contact for external auditors
- Monitor and evaluate finance processes, including cooperation with the offshore centers
- Actively participate in various ad hoc (international) projects
Professional Requirements
- Bachelor or master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration or another relevant field
- 7+ years of experience in Finance
- Working knowledge of finance law and local regulatory standards (GAAP)
- Advanced in Excel, experience in SAP is a plus
Soft skills
- Professional communication skills in English, Dutch and French
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into relevant and focused management insights
- Flexible and proactive, self-initiator with ability to work with senior stakeholders
- Agile, and able to multitask in a complex context and meet deadlines
