Your main mission will be to assist the PR & Communication coordinator in implementing the company strategy into a sound marketing and PR strategy, supporting Essentiel Antwerp’s international development through both global and local actions in the countries where we are present.
Additionally, you help to monitor current social media trends and come up with proposals for content creation.
PR & Communication Intern

**Task Description**:

- You assist in implementing, managing and monitoring day-to-day brand communication;
- You assist in maintaining a daily contact with Belgian press, stylists and celebrities and to our external PR agencies (UK, Netherlands, Germany);
- You help to coordinate our in-house press showroom and take care of lending out items to stylists/magazines
- You assist in keeping our press showroom neat and relevant;
- You assist in organizing in-house (Belgian) press days twice a year;
- You follow-up on PR publications;
- You assist in organizing seeding and sponsoring;
- You research relevant content / examples for Instagram/Facebook/TikTok;
- You create *easy* content together with or briefed by marketing/strategy;
- You think of ways to achieve a more engaged audience on social media (contests/ask questions/ );
- You follow up on trends and come up with proposals concerning social media
- You look for new profiles that match our brand identity for potential partnerships

Skills & Experience
- You have a bachelor’s degree in PR, marketing, business or communication;
- You have prior experience in marketing, communication, or PR, preferably in fashion;
- You are a fluent communicator in English, Dutch and French are a plus.
- You have a passion and sense for fashion;
- You are familiar with making content on Instagram & TikTok
- You have a hands-on mentality;
- You have excellent organizational and flexibility skills;
- You have the ability to pick things up quickly;
- You are a team worker;
- You are comfortable with Microsoft pack office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
- You have good written and oral communication skills.
