We are looking for a Business Development Manager to support our sales efforts in the Biosciences area to enhance our business expansion across the DACH region. The position is remote with 50% travel requirement
**Key responsibilities**:
- Delivers on monthly and annual sales targets.
- Leads the full sales cycle (identification, acquisition, implementation, expansion, and renewal) for assigned customers
- Prospects new customers and accounts within their territory.
- Strong ability to develop media business
- Handles the sales funnel from new opportunity generation through closing.
- Develops mid and long term profitable business within their assigned accounts/territory.
- Coordinates support resources within Lonza to meet customer needs.
- Provides solutions from the Lonza Biosciences in the CGT and Cell Media market.
**Key requirements**:
- Life Sciences industry background with a few years of sales experience
- Experience with cell and gene sector, specifically diagnostics, early drug discovery and cell processing products
- Proficient in Germany and English languages
- Additional French knowledge is a plus
