Accounting and Finance - Leuven | Just now- You will be the Financial Business Partner for all investments within the imec group.- What you will doAs Business Controller CAPEX, you will play a crucial role in the financial management of our investments. You will report directly to the Group Controller.
You will:
- Prepare the annual capital expenditure budget in close cooperation with all stakeholders.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of capital expenditure forecasts.
- Maintain the long-range infrastructure financial investment plan in alignment with strategic objectives.
- Monitor spending against approved budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and addressing discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Provide financial advice to line management in making investment decisions.
- Conduct financial analysis to evaluate proposed capital projects and assess their potential return on investment.
- Establish and maintain robust approval processes for capital expenditure requests and actively monitor the governance flows.
- Prepare and present management dashboards on capex performance to support and guide business unit managers.
- Critically review capex related financial processes and identify potential areas for improvements.
- Actively contribute to projects on financial systems and improvement processes (ERP,...).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and funding rules (EU, state-aid,...).

Who you are
- You hold a Master's degree in an economic field.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in Business Controlling (or equivalent relevant experience). Experience in a service or project organization and/or in an international context is a plus.
- You succeed in presenting complex financial figures concisely and you know how to convince based on facts and analysis.
- With your interpersonal skills you are a business partner who creates impact and dares to challenge results. You mainly have contacts with business unit and department heads.
- You are fascinated by a rapidly changing business environment and have a healthy curiosity to better understand products and production processes.
- You have impeccable Excel skills and manage to translate numbers into meaningful insights.
- You have excellent communication skills in English (and Dutch).
