For this position you would be working with our client from the European institutions.

DIGIT.A.2, in collaboration with other Commission services and stakeholders, delivers corporate IT solutions for both EC and non-EC entities, supporting the Commission's Digital Transformation and EU policies. It develops and manages systems related to public procurement, document digitalization in grant and procurement processes, and budget planning. DIGIT.A.2 is also responsible for the IT systems of programs like eProcurement, MAPP, TIREMA, and SEDIA, covering various business areas such as planning, pre-award, post-award, and results evaluation.

Below are the details of your role and requirements.

**Your role**
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developer with server-side logic.
- Implement core business logic.
- Creation of servers and databases for functionality.
- Design and implementation of data storage solutions.
- Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
- Design and develop APIs.
- Participating in the design and creation of scalable software.
- Taking lead on projects, as needed.
- Maintenance of code integrity and organisation.
- Writing clean, functional code on the back end.
- Compile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
- Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues
- Meet both technical and consumer needs.
- Write technical documentation
