Ben jij de Development Lead die ons team wil versterken om innovatieve Java-applicaties en state-of-the-art services te ontwikkelen?
In de rol van Development Lead ben je de drijvende kracht achter cutting-edge digitale transformaties bij onze klanten. Je expertise komt tot uiting in het vertalen van functionele vereisten naar robuuste technische oplossingen, waarbij je de applicatiearchitectuur uitstippelt en diepgaande technische analyses uitvoert.
Daarnaast orchestreer je het team: je zorgt voor technische richtlijnen, je faciliteert met inschattingen, waarborgt kwaliteit, je houdt de vinger aan de pols tijdens de ontwikkeling en idealiter ontwikkel je zelf ook beperkt mee. Uiteraard kun je hiervoor terugvallen op de collega's en domeinexperten van iO.
Verder ben je het go-to aanspreekpunt voor onze klanten: je licht technische keuzes en beslissingen toe, waarbij je complexe materie ook inzichtelijk maakt voor de minder technische contactpersonen. Als spil in het project zorg je voor een optimale balans tussen de business objectives, functionele specificaties en technische vereisten.
Bovendien neem je het voortouw in de professionele ontwikkeling van je team, door actief kennis te delen, developers te coachen en de implementatie van industry best practices te stimuleren.
Daarom ben jij de perfecte Java Development Lead
Je hebt minstens 3 jaar ervaring in het technisch leiden van een team en 10 jaar ervaring in applicatieontwikkeling .
Je bent een empathische people manager met uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden. Een echte team player.
Je hebt ervaring met het nemen van de technische eindverantwoordelijkheid voor de ontwikkeling van een product/project.
Je hebt kennis van de algemene software design principes zoals design patterns en de SOLID principles
Je hebt ervaring met het opzetten en onderhouden van complexe software architectuur rekening houdend met availability, reliability, scalability, security enz.
Je beschikt over een geavanceerde kennis van Java waaronder: Java 8+ functionaliteit, Java-frameworks zoals Spring Boot, Java-gebaseerde ORM-frameworks zoals Hibernate, Java-testframeworks zoals JUnit, Mockito, ...
Je beschikt over kennis in containerisatie zoals Docker en Kubernetes zijn een plus
Je hebt ervaring met verschillende cloud vendors (AWS, Azure)
Je bent vertrouwd met CI/CD setups
Je hebt ervaring met Git, Gitflow, Data-driven design en Dependency Injection .
Je hebt kennis van SQL (MSSQL) voor ontwikkelingsdoeleinden.
Je beschikt over uitstekende organisatorische vaardigheden en een groot probleemoplossend vermogen.
Je kunt je scherpe analytische inzichten helder vertalen naar ontwikkelaars.
Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands . Je kennis van het Engels is behoorlijk.
