Part-time Research Assistant, Caritas Bianchi College of Careers

Duties

The appointee will support the Principal Investigator in a research project. Irregular working hours and/or weekend work may be required.

The Appointee Will Be Responsible For

editing various research outputs, including books, reports, and conference papers;
translating research materials between English and Chinese;
compiling research reports and preparing materials for conference presentations and publications;
conducting literature reviews;
performing qualitative data analysis;
handling relevant administrative tasks;
performing other duties as assigned.

Appointment Criteria

Applicants should:

possess a recognized bachelor's degree or higher in translation, linguistics, social sciences, or a closely related field; a master's degree is highly preferred;
have at least three years of relevant full-time post-qualification experience in editing, translation, or academic research support;
demonstrate an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with a keen eye for detail in editing and a flair for accurate translation;
be proficient in qualitative data analysis;
exhibit strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills;
be highly self-motivated, responsible, and capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
