You will maintain close contacts within this team, as well as with the general practitioners in the region. While working independently, you will also be part of the specialist team within the hospital. Complicated cases and conditions will be referred to the academic hospital in the immediate vicinity. It is important that you can and are willing to collaborate with paediatricians in the network to harness everyone's strengths. During the summer period, you will encounter many tourists, as this hospital is situated amidst the beautiful natural areas of Belgium. Hiking, kayaking, cycling, and other outdoor sports are possible here. Schools and all modern amenities are nearby.
