The Accounting Department at our headquarters in Brussels, (see the map here) we’re looking for an **General Accounting Team Leader** (M/F/x).

**Your**
**responsibilities***:

- You will be in charge of general accounting for a number of Belgian companies forming part of the Fluxys Group. You will also have the opportunity, as part of the development of our activities, to collaborate on establishing new companies focusing on innovative molecules/gases
- You will lead, coordinate and support a motivated team of three people. Together, you will be responsible for the general accounting, asset accounting and analytical accounting of these Belgian companies within the Fluxys Group
- You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and analysing month-end closings (in accordance with BGAAP standards), working with other teams within and outside the Accounting Department
- You will be responsible for drafting reports for clients, whether internal (including management, the Audit Committee and the Board of Directors) or external (e.g. the National Bank of Belgium). For regulated companies, you will be involved in the regulatory reporting and calculations
- You will identify opportunities for improving, digitalising and automating processes. You will nurture and promote versatility within your team
- You will help to roll out SAP in new Fluxys Group entities in Belgium and abroad. You will support foreign subsidiaries with new and/or complex entries
- You will assist the auditors with their tasks

**About**
**you***:

- You hold a master's degree in economics (applied economics, business engineering, business administration, etc.) with a major in accounting or auditing
- You preferably have some experience of managing a team
- You are a disciplined, results-focused team player who works well under pressure
- You have a highly developed analytical and critical mind and a keen sense of initiative
- You are client-focused and have strong communication skills. You are a native speaker of Dutch or French and have a good knowledge of the other language and of English
- Familiarity with IFRS would be a plus
