Senior Innovation Consultant

We’re looking for someone who knows how to drive projects forward and inspire clients, designers, researchers and business designers to create relevant and impactful products and services. You love to challenge the status quo A human-centered approach is what you live by. You combine user research, workshops, co-creation, and creativity with a healthy view on economics and viability. You want to create an impact by solving exciting innovation challenges and you’re only happy when you’ve turned those workshop post-its into concrete concepts and prototypes so you can validate them with real stakeholders.

**What will you do?**
- Analyze the innovation challenge from the client (the why, how, and what) and translate it into a design thinking project approach.
- Define and drive the strategy behind the new phygital products and services we conceive.
- Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams (Digital/Product/Strategy/Business)
- Brief, challenge, and coach the designers and strategists of the project team to deliver the best possible outcomes.
- Scope and manage user research (interviews, observations, panels,), ideation, concept creation, business design, and validation phases.
- Translate research data into relevant and concrete insights and infographics (customer journeys, persona’s, jobs to be done, touchpoint analysis,...).
- Organize and lead workshops and ideation sessions.
- Translating strategic issues and user needs into strong prototypes and proof of concepts, both digital, physical products, and service
- and business models together with the experts in your project team.
- Test, validate, and iterate on product prototypes with your team.
- Assess the impact your work will have on the desired business model**.**
- You inspire clients and stakeholders and you challenge them to go one step further.
- Be an intrapreneur-as-a-service who helps our clients to realize successful projects and ventures.
- Present project progress to clients and stakeholders on key milestones
- Manage the planning and the budget for your projects and project teams.
- Be the single point of communication (SPOC) for the client for your project.
- Align with your Director who is your coach and mentor in projects.
- Guard Made quality
- You’re actively searching for up-and-cross-selling opportunities for Made
- Support in making quotes and pitching projects to clients together with new bizz

**Job requirements**

Your qualities should include:

- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Product development, Entrepreneurship & innovation, Economics, Marketing and similar and min 5 year's of relevant work experience
- You know your (user-centered) design thinking tools and methodologies
- You can jump in to visualize service blueprints, concepts, and ideas, and you’re not scared to draw the first attempt of a concept yourself.
- Motivated, positive, proactive, solution-focused, and inspiring.
- You take ownership of your projects and you get things done.
- Very good communicator.
- Building on your experience and expertise you know how to build strong client relationships.
- You make crystal clear, nice-looking, and to-the-point presentations and know how to present them to a C-level audience (Google Slides, Keynote,)
- You are the right kind of difficult: you know when to push and when to deliver.
- A team player
- Fluent in English and preferably also in Dutch
- Car license B
