**Your job**

**Main responsibilities**

Critical analysis and processing of claims for medical expenses within the fixed turnaround time.

Claims processing
- Efficiently assess, process, and adjudicate medical claims, always prioritizing medical confidentiality, accuracy and within the set TAT.
- Positioning him/herself analytically and critically in the context of cost management and in respect of existing working methods.
- Taking ownership of difficult or high-value files.
- A sustained effort towards high-quality claims handling, accurate reimbursements and fast transactions are important motivators.
- Following up his/her own workload (volume and timing): keeping an eye on chronology and processing time of the work volume and taking suitable actions.
- Participate efficiently in processing the flow of claims: inform the Supervisor about claims lacking clarity and about possible ways of optimizing the processes.
- Pro-actively optimising the unit’s workflows to achieve set targets.
- Providing accurate file information to internal employees where required.
- Tracking irregularities in procedures and highlighting these to the Supervisor and/or SME
- Raising problems or sensitivities with your (Senior) Supervisor.
- Participating actively in an agreeable and amicable atmosphere.

**Your profile**

Education Level
- Bachelor's degree or similar by experience.

Specific Knowledge
- Active knowledge of English.
- Passive knowledge of other languages (Dutch/German/French).
- Knowledge of Dutch, German, French health system is a plus.
- Medical terminology
