Forvis Mazars is seeking a dynamic and talented individual to join our team in Brussels as a Junior Corporate Tax Consultant.
In this role, you will play a crucial role in assisting our national and international clients - especially in the financial sector - with their corporate tax requests.
Your responsibilities will first include the tax compliance such as the preparation of corporate income tax returns, withholding tax returns, the net asset tax returns, the preparation and reporting of the transfer pricing documentation.
You will also provide tax consultancy on various topics and in particular, provide tax assistance with restructuring, FATCA-CRS and DAC-6 analysis, acquisition and vendor due diligence, substance analysis
Additionally, you will stay updated on changes in the tax legislation and have the opportunity to prepare tax opinions on various tax areas and newsletters.
You will have direct client contact while managing assigned client files, with the support of a senior consultant and working collaboratively in a team.
Your responsibilities:
- Assist financial national and international clients in meeting their tax compliance obligations;
- Provide advices on various (financial) tax topics;
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation;
- Have direct customer contact and manage assigned client files.
Your profile:
- Master's degree in law, (Applied) Economics and/or Postgraduate in Tax;
- Excellent knowledge and communication skills in French (or Dutch) and English, both written and spoken;
- Client-focused with a hands-on attitude;
- Highly motivated with excellent communication skills;
- Ability to solve complex problems in a pragmatic and qualitative way;
- Eager to learn and a good team player.
