We are collaborating with a leading European energy infrastructure group transitioning to a **product-oriented SAP IT operating model**. In this context, they are looking for an **SAP HCM Payroll Consultant** (with ABAP capabilities) to support the **HRCORE product team** as they move toward **RISE with SAP** and **cloud transformation**.

This is a high-impact role working within a **SCRUM/Agile** environment, focusing on both the **daily operations** and the **modernization of German Payroll processes** using **S4HANA 2023**, **Fiori**, and **SuccessFactors**. You'll be part of the SAP HCM evolution in the journey towards a private cloud solution by 2027.

**️ Responsibilities**:
Maintain and enhance the “SAP HRCORE” product as part of the cross-functional product team
Design, configure, develop, and implement German Payroll solutions under RISE roadmap
Provide functional and technical advice on solutions to stakeholders
Document developed configurations and solutions thoroughly
Bridge communication between business analysts and developers
Manage IT tests, support system health monitoring, and deliver improvements
Ensure integration with Finance, Controlling, and other SAP modules
Conduct customer workshops and provide second-/third-line support

**Requirements**:
Minimum **5 years of experience in SAP HCM German Payroll**
In-depth understanding of **German payroll legislation, rules, and functions**
Proficiency in **ABAP** (read and write essential)
Strong knowledge of **Time (PT), OM, PA**, and **German pre
- & post-payroll processes**
Experience with **S/4HANA** and working in a **Fiori-first context**
Familiarity with SAP module integration and **SuccessFactors** interfaces
Knowledge of technologies such as **IDoc, ALE, CPI, PI, Cloud Foundry** is a plus
Ability to write **functional specifications** and conduct system tests
Fluent in **English** + **Dutch or French** (German is a strong plus)
Team player with excellent communication and documentation skills
