**EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
**Essential Qualifications/Experience:
- A graduate degree in Computer and Information Systems Technology or an equivalent level of qualification or professional accreditation by a related engineering Institute or professional body
- Experience in:
ü Licensing of Microsoft Products, VMWare, NetApp

ü Microsoft Windows Servers 2008/2012/2016 administration

ü Security requirements in large, virtualized environment

ü Storage for VM based architectures and the ability to manipulate storage to suit computing needs

ü Implementing solutions in public cloud environments

ü Asset management databases
- General knowledge of monitoring tools such as SCOM, Unified Manager and proprietary tools associated with on-site technologies (NetApp, Microsoft, VMWare)
- Working knowledge of network interconnectivity and general routing and switching
- Knowledge of:
ü FibreChannel/Fabric based solutions

ü ITIL processes
- Understand enterprise level technologies to deliver services to large organizations
- Broad knowledge of enterprise level technologies in order to be able to efficiently project solutions against requirements

**DUTIES/ROLE**:

- Assist the storage team in monitoring of SAN and FC switches
- Responding to automated incidents generated by monitoring tools
- Develop monitoring tools for the Virtual Environment that allow a proactive approach to problem solving
- Performing event management
- Working with storage team to creating fibre channel zones
- Support the migration, adaptation, operation, maintenance and tuning for all SAN inside the classified/unclassified NATO networks and new upcoming networks
- Central Enterprise administration of hosting infrastructure
- Maintain the hosting infrastructure hardware and implement changes as required to fix detected errors
- Identifies operational problems and contributes to their resolution
- Performs analysis and implementation of user requirements
- Implements disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity
- Implements & tests new hardware/software releases
- Contributes to the development of Standard Operating Procedures for routine system administration tasks
- Uses system management software and tools to collect agreed performance statistics
- Carries out agreed system software maintenance tasks
- Participates in or conducts technical reviews, walkthroughs and audits
- Provides technical expert advice to superiors and external elements
