**A day in the life of an Associate Debt & Capital Advisory**
- Be part of Corporate Finance department, which also includes Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Equity Capital Markets (ECM), Financial Institutions (FI) Advisory and Private Equity Advisory
- Be part of the dealteam that leads the execution of high profile, time critical and strategic client projects
- Assist in the pitching and execution of debt advisory, rating advisory and transformational capital advisory mandates
- Develop complex financial models integrating acquisitions and/or other strategic events that our clients going through
- Conduct in depth analyses in order to advice corporate clients on their strategic capital structuring options
- Interact intensively with relationship managers, sector experts and product experts within wholesale banking in order to bring comprehensive financing solutions for our client’s transformational events

As an Associate Debt & Capital Advisory, you will have the opportunity to:

- Actively assist in originating capital structuring and debt
- advisory deals in concertation with senior team members, relationship managers and originators from other departments
- Involved in the drafting of presentations/pitch books regarding integrated debt, equity and risk mitigation solutions
- Involved in the execution debt advisory and/or multi-product (event-driven) financing processes, including:

- capital structuring analyses and bankability studies;
- overall project management;
- preparation of marketing materials including teasers and information memoranda;
- coordination with external advisors including due diligence providers and legal counsels;
- dataroom and Q&A management;
- assisting in negotiation of credit and loan documentation with prospective (bank and institutional) lenders;
- Coordination of - and/or the preparation of financial models (event-driven and/or project finance);
- Preparing (implied) credit ratings profiles and industry peer group analysis;

**The team**

As an associate D&CA you will be a member of an enthusiastic and driven team (5 FTE’s). We play a key role in the origination and execution of debt advisory, ratings advisory and transformational financings (loans, bonds, private placements, equity and hedging). You will be part of independent debt advisory teams directly working for and on behalf of our clients, and you will also be part of multi-disciplined origination, structuring and execution teams for integrated financing solutions, where your role is to put the client interest first and ensure best-in-class delivery to meet and go beyond client expectations.

You will work closely together with the colleagues of our D&CA team in Brussels and other D&CA locations (Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Madrid, Singapore, Hong Kong and New York), the sector/relationship coverage teams and various product specialists within ING including M&A, Global Capital Markets, Financial Markets (FM), Loan Syndicate, Lending, Sustainable Finance and Corporate Investments.

Your client base will consist of predominantly Belgian, Nordic and Western European based corporate clients across various sectors and financial/infra sponsors, where you will be wor
