**Company**: Edmac Europe is an ambitious customer-driven company, which is selling components for compressors with customers from across the world. As part of an industry leader within this market, our objective is to be the one-stop-shop for all organizations who want to procure parts, consumables or lubricants for compressors. Our customers are all small to medium sized companies, which are located in more than 60 different countries. To further support our growth, we are currently looking for a Business Development Officer. **Responsibilities**: As a Business Development Officer, your responsibilities are: - Search for growth opportunities in your region by, i.e., increasing market share: - Expanding the product portfolio of existing customers - Acquiring new customers - Converting leads into long-term cooperation - Support our customer centers in the further development of competitor service - Grow the Edmac ratio in your regions - Use OEM parts as a service we offer, the main goal is to sell our Edmac parts - Structure and develop the best-in-class customer experience - Create business plans for your region - Cold calling - Keeping the CRM up to date (MoM, calls) - Creating quotes (acquisitions, specific regions, etc.) - In absence of colleagues you support in the back-up of quotes **Requirements**: We are looking for an enthusiastic and result-driven, no-nonsense professional with ideally a background in internal sales and/or business development: - Bachelor degree and/or 2 to 5 years’ experience in a similar function - Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office apps (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), experience with ERP systems is an advantage - Knowledge of English is a must **Personality**: - This is a hybrid sales role where both "hunting" and "consultative selling" as well as a good ability to explain the product is a decisive factor - In addition to a passion for sales, you also possess analytical and creative skills that allow you to help customers effectively and continuously - Present and demonstrate the value of the product to potential customers - Compile and analyze data to identify trends - Respectfully working with the internal sales officers who support you in the region **Offer**: - The possibility to work together with the complete team, on the future development of Edmac Europe as a strong player within this market - We offer you the best of both worlds: the advantages of coming into a small young and dynamic company, combined with the expertise and possibilities of an international market-leader - The chance to further develop your career within the Edmac business - Become part of a young & dynamic team with great ambitions to further develop our company - A competitive and market-conform salary - We are located in Wilrijk - Antwerp **Would you like to get to know us**:
