We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled **Sensory Lab** **Operator **to join our team in the field of life sciences. As a Sensory Lab Operator, you will play a **crucial** role in leading **sensory projects **and conducting various **internal **and **external sensory tests**. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented **scientist **with a passion for sensory science and consumer research.

**Responsibilities**:

- ** Lead and oversee** sensory projects, ensuring their successful execution.
- ** Organize and manage** internal sensory tests, including **planning**, **sample preparation**, leading **tasting** sessions, **data analysis**, and **reporting**. Tests may include **Degree Of Difference and internal mapping.**:

- ** Manage and maintain** the **internal tasters panel**, including **training**, **panel maintenance**, and ensuring their **engagement **and **attendance **for sensory tastings.
- ** Coordinate** and **collaborate **with **external agencies **to organize **sensory tests **such as the **Triangular test and DA panel**.
- ** Support **and **facilitate **tests with **external partners**, including **Operational Units **in **marketing**, **commercialization**, and **bottling**.
- ** Collaborate **with **external agencies** and a **senior TCR scientist** to **design **and **execute **consumer and **sensory research studies**.
- Perform **data analysis**, generate **comprehensive reports**, and provide actionable **recommendations **based on the findings.
- Offer **recommendations **for business solutions derived from strong technical consumer research insights.
- Stay **externally focused**, actively identifying **technologies **and **methodologies **that can contribute to more actionable results. Maintain a **keen awareness of competitor **activities, strategies, and trends.
- Ensure the **operational functionality** of the sensory lab, including managing software licenses, equipment maintenance, and inventory management to ensure adequate supplies.
- Take accountability for project **delivery**, ensuring high-quality outcomes within established **timelines**.

**Functie eisen**:

- **1-3 years** of successful **experience **in **sensory science or consumer research.**:

- ** Bachelor's **or **master's **degree in **sensory science or food science.**:

- Proficiency in using **data collection **and **statistical software**.
- Strong knowledge of **sensory science **and **applied statistics**.
- Excellent **communication skills **in **English**, both **written** and **verbal**. Additional language proficiency is a plus.
