**Job description**:
As a Freight Forwarder Ocean, you are responsible for coordinating and organizing ocean freight shipments from A to Z.
You work closely with customers, shipping lines, and internal departments to ensure that goods arrive safely and on time at their destination.
You handle customs documentation, prepare transport files, and oversee the entire transport chain.

**Responsibilities**:
Placing bookings with suppliers
Handling forwarding files up to and including invoicing (including tracking, approving, and disputing supplier invoices)
Complete documentation of the file (e.g., waivers, permits, certificates...)
Interpretation and execution of the letter of credit
Preparing and/or checking customs instructions, customs documents
Scheduling transports
Tracking shipments to their final destination

**Applicant's profile**:
What we expect from you:
At least 5 years of experience as a Freight Forwarder Ocean

In-depth knowledge of IMDG, GDP, Incoterms

Knowledge of IRIS and CargoWise are significant plus points

Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach

Problem-solving ability and resilience under stress

Fluent in Dutch, English, and French (written and spoken)
