EPM Scientific are partnered with a reputable Pharmaceutical Company which is currently seeking a Scientist to join the Advanced Material Characterization and Investigations (AMCI) group within the Analytical Development (AD) department. See a short summary below:
**Contract Conditions**:

- _ Focus Areas: Nitrosamines, LC-HRMS, Mass Spectrometry, Chromatography_

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement advanced analytical methods for nitrosamine quantification, including innovative sample preparation and chromatographic techniques.
- Lead and support root cause investigations related to nitrosamines across various stages of R&D.
- Initiate and manage partnerships with universities and research institutions to expand external innovation capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, GMP, and safety regulations in a laboratory setting.

**Requirements**:

- PhD in Analytical or Organic Chemistry (or related field), or Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven expertise in nitrosamine analysis in pharmaceutical products is highly desirable.
- Strong experience with mass spectrometry (Triple Quadrupole and High-Resolution MS).
- Familiarity with chromatographic method development and regulatory frameworks (ICH, EMA, FDA).
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
