Fully qualified lawyer with outstanding academic and legal qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in competition law
- Experience in managing competition-related regulatory and enforcement matters at EU level and member states, with demonstrated experience in Germany.
- Experience managing a large number and variety of mission-critical projects and meeting deadlines.

This position will advise the business and senior leadership on strategic matters, be responsible for competition-related enforcement and regulatory matters across Europe, and help shape the company’s long-term strategy on highly relevant and novel issues.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive competition and related regulatory matters across the EU and member states - including Germany - while partnering with local legal teams.
- Advise the business and legal colleagues on competition-related matters across all Amazon businesses in Europe.
- Help shape the company’s long term strategy on high impact and often novel issues.
- Think Big and look around corners to spot issues and identify developments of relevance for the Amazon business.
- Partner with our public policy team and engage with regulators and policy makers on a broad range of issues.
- Contribute as a member of the EU Competition team to develop mechanisms for training, compliance, and cross-functional coordination.
The role location is Munich, Brussels, Berlin or Luxembourg. Some travel will be required.
