Job description:

- You will be responsible for carrying out consultancy assignments in energy, managing your fellow consultants in terms of content. The project portfolio consists of:

- Identification and screening for feasibility of decarbonisation measures, focused on large industrial companies and energy-intensive industries in Belgium.
- Guiding clients in electrification and waste heat recovery through elaboration of climate transition plan and techno-economic evaluation ideas.
- Project development of renewable energy generation and storage initiatives (PV, wind, hydrogen, batteries...).
- Besides your role as a consultant, there are projects where you can work more as a Project Engineer:

- Concrete elaboration of a feasibility study into a permit-ready design, in a multidisciplinary team
- Further elaboration of energy efficiency measures to concretely implement this at the customer's site
- You manage - after a familiarisation period - your own client portfolio, both in terms of content and commercially; through your built-up network and in close cooperation with the Business Development team, you help with order acquisition;
- You closely follow new regulations and developments in your field; you are the internal point of contact for technical and content-related questions;
- You are flexible in your location of work, varying from working at one of the Sweco offices, a client visit on site and working from home. Working 50% in the office is the standard. There is no fixed secondment within Sweco: you work from a Sweco office or at home.

Who are we looking for:

- You have a master's degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience (as a consultant or in business);
- You have consultancy skills and can convince people of your approach and experience;
- Experience with sustainable business (CSR/MVO), care systems (ISO 14001 - 50001) or assessments (BREEAM / LEED) are a plus;
- You are commercially minded, communicative and have a sense of initiative;
- You can work independently, but are also comfortable working in a team;
- Multilingualism (NL, FR, ENG) is a plus;
