Senior Solution Consultant

At Vaimo Benelux & France, we excel in providing innovative digital commerce solutions. We're currently seeking an experienced Solution Consultant to join our team. As a Solutions Consultant, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding our clients towards achieving their business objectives through expert consultation and technological solutions._

As a Solution Consultant, you will play an important role in both the pre-sales and post-sales phases, collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to design and implement effective digital commerce solutions. Your responsibilities will encompass facilitating workshops, gathering requirements, leading technical discovery processes, and providing ongoing consultation to ensure project success. Acting as a liaison between business and technical aspects, you will support sales efforts by qualifying potential clients, ideating sales strategies, and contributing to marketing activities such as attending e-commerce events to showcase our expertise and present client cases. Additionally, you will serve as a bridge between business and technology, aiding clients in selecting the best architecture for their solutions, including platform selection. Beyond client projects, you will stay abreast of technical trends, alternative solutions, and third-party products to align components with client needs.

**Key Responsibilities**:
In the following 4 domains, you will have an essential responsibility:
**_ Support sales phase_**
- Create and keep updated templates for the stellar technical presentations (PWA, Architecture matters )
- RFP responses
- Bridge to Technical Architects for in-depth technical advice
- Help sales retrieve ball-park estimates from delivery (AEM, Commerce, PIM, OMS) + standardise estimates
- Spinning up and running demonstrations of the platforms (general and targeted) functionality and capability.

**_Lead and support the discovery phase_**
- Defining the list of Discovery activities needed for the Technology stream
- Gathering requirements
- Setting up Conceptual Solution Description (Discovery report) document structure
- Mapping requirements to chosen solution
- Scope control
- Overall responsible for solution design
- Work with platform Technical Architect(s) on scoping
- Overall ownership of scoping estimates (not providing, but validating, presenting to client)

**_Implementation phase_**
- Participates in client projects doing product configuration based on the client requirements (e.g., Akeneo attribute configuration based on the data model) independently

**_ Technology Advisory_**:

- Internal/external advisory on technology, being sensitive to new solutions on the market
- Up to date on latest technology trends (PWA, Composable Commerce)
- Up to date on releases and roadmap in Vaimo tech stack (e.g., Adobe, Commerce tools, Akeneo)
- Actively proposes products and solutions for the review to be included into a company portfolio

**Skills & Requirements**:
In your role, you'll be a crucial player in many new client engagements and projects, making sure we're fully dedicated to delivering real business value.
- 5+ years of experience in designing digital / e-commerce ecosystems, with preferably e-commerce platforms like Adobe Commerce and/or commercetools, Headless CMS platforms like Contentful or ContentStack, Search Engines like Algolia or Klevu.
- Experience in digital and composable commerce platform implementation(s) either on the agency or client side.
- Strong understanding of digital technologies, trends, and e-commerce principles.
- Ability to offer creative solutions and translate data into actionable insights.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Logical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Organised with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to navigate different organisational levels and collaborate effectively.
- Proficiency in English and Dutch is a must; knowledge of French is highly desirable.
- Travel required to visit clients in the Netherlands, Belgium, and France.
