Tasks and responsibilities
- Take ownership of Finance across the organization in providing oversight of the Finance Division and accounting team and processes, helping to streamline, automate and enhance reporting to provide actionable insights for FP&A
- Actively manage long-term financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, resource management, and multi-year financial plans, working closely with functional leaders across the company.
- Serve as Financial Controller and Business Partner to the Executive Team to provide insight and analytical support to help guide business decisions and move the company forward
- Assist the CEO and with external audit
- Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach: assign accountabilities; set objectives; establish priorities, and monitor and evaluate results.
- Serve as the liaison to third-party firms for audits, tax preparation, and other projects.
- Manage banking relationships, reporting, managing liquidity, and preparing cash flow forecasts.
- Develop, maintain, and utilize the appropriate financial systems, tools, processes, and resources required to support all of the business’s financial planning, management, and reporting needs.
- Contribute to the development of strategic financial goals and objectives
What do we expect from you?
- You have a degree within a financial or business economics major.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in a strategic and/or financial role, within a growing build environment / family Office / investment company / PE player,
- Ideally you also have experience at a renewable energy player and knowledge of wholesale electricity markets.
- You are entrepreneurial and a down-to-earth hands-on and pragmatic attitude;
- As a Finance professional, you have strong analytical insight, a punctual approach and you look at the figures of the various activities from a helicopter perspective.
- You know how to motivate a team like no other and have already managed a team or previous experience managing and leading others.
- You are very IT-minded and you thrive within a digital working environment.
