**YOUR CHALLENGES**

As part of the Accountants team, you will provide support to the Finance Teams Cost Control and Credit & Revenue within H. Essers Liquid Bulk at Zeebrugge. You will independently organize, execute, and verify the complete accounting of different entities within the Liquid Bulk group.

What this means specifically:

- Debtor & creditor management
- Interim reconciliation of supplier and customer balances
- Processing of bank and miscellaneous entries, as well as support with certain purchase and sales registrations
- Accounting processing of financial data
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and critical review of the balance sheet
- Take the lead in the preparation of statutory and consolidated financial statements
- Ensuring that legal accounting rules are applied
- Prepare statutory and legal reports
- Collaborate with other finance teams in preparation of reporting and budget preparation
- Participate in GL related (ad hoc) projects
- Assist with the annual audit

**YOUR TALENTS**
- Bachelor of Accountancy-Taxation and/or equivalent through relevant experience
- Looking at things with an analytical critical eye
- Project-based work is totally your thing
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Clear communication at all levels in Dutch and English
