**LOCATION :ANTWERP | BELGIUM | BRUSSELS | CHARLEROI | GHENT | LIÈGE** At BeCode, our mission is to enable tomorrow’s untapped digital talents to blossom. We are a social impact-driven coding school, specialized in in-demand digital skills and using active pedagogy, helping motivated individuals in vulnerable professional situations to meet the needs of the job market. Since 2017, we have grown to a team of 50 people, over 5 campuses in Belgium and helped over 2200 job seekers to start their career in the ICT sector as a Web Developer, AI Operator, DevOps, Cyber Security Analyst or SAP consultant. - We are looking for an - **Chief Impact & Finance Officer** to strengthen the Leadership team. - **Job overview**: As member of the Executive Committee and Leadership Team of BeCode, you are accountable for critical parts of BeCode’s activities: the full scope of **finance**, but also the definition and monitoring of all **projects** agreed with our partners, and the overall impact monitoring of all BeCode activities to make sure it is in line with our mission and stakeholders’ expectations. In a broader sense, you are accountable for all activities leading to the short - and long-term funding of BeCode’s operations. For succeeding in this mission, you coordinate small teams in Finance, BI and Projects & Grants Management, deal with key stakeholders, and are hands-on, directly supervising all critical projects. - Together with the other members of the Executive Committee and Leadership Team, you are accountable for the overall success of BeCode. In that team, your perspective is the overall impact BeCode must have, the commitments we make to those who help us to fund our activities, and our financial resources. This is a logical, end-to-end accountability: impact => projects => funding => finance, broader than only “CFO”. - **Responsibilities & duties**: As Chief Impact & Finance Officer, your responsibilities will include: **Impact**: Analyzing the impact of our activities, organize its reporting, and providing recommendations to improve our products and operations. **Funding**: Coordinating the overall funding of BeCode’s activities, the CEO playing himself also a key role in this. **Finance**: Together with the Finance and BI Manager, coordinate all financial aspects of BeCode. - Your team consists of the Finance & BI team (led by a Finance & BI Manager) and the Projects & Grants Management Team (led by a senior Projects and Grants Manager). - **Are you the Leader we’re looking for?**: - You need to: - Be experienced in finance management and willing to expand you scope - Ideally, be experienced in projects and grants management - Be a team player ready to trust your colleagues and coach your team to evolve - Be passionate about driving activities by putting forward their impact - Be fluent in **French, Dutch and English** **What do we offer you?**: By joining BeCode, you will become part of an amazing social project that already has had a big impact on our society - and we’re not stopping there.
