Product Designer

**The challenge**:

- Participate in all design stages from concept to go-live;
- create unique concepts that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks;
- work with fully autonomous teams and co-decide on the direction that our product evolves;
- ensure that new concepts and designs are validated and user-tested, in partnership with our user researchers;
- contribute to a sustainable product vision with strong focus on creating a safe environment for our customers;
- deliver product improvements based on user needs and business goals, and continuously challenge status quo;
- create rich, functional prototypes (wireframes and UI designs) for the technology team and other stakeholders;
- introduce interaction and design ideas to your stakeholders (product managers, tech leads, brand & marketing managers and front-end developers);
- set design guidelines, best practices and standards and maintain the design system;
- leverage knowledge of web-based frameworks and user patterns;
- stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, tooling and continuously inspire with new ideas and observations.

**Your winners' profile**:

- You obtained a higher degree or equivalent with a major in Computer Science, web development, Human-Computer Interaction, Mobile Computing, Graphic Design, Software Engineering or a related field of study;
- build upon several years of profound UX/UI design experience, illustrated by a solid portfolio of design projects - experience in the e-commerce, entertainment or game development industries is a plus;
- passionate about UX design - you know and follow best practices and are proficient with all aspects of modern product interfaces;
- effective communication skills, using appropriate language at all levels -both spoken and written
- in English and (ideally) in Dutch;
- creative and analytical capabilities, team player;
- highly organized, efficient and detail-oriented, without losing yourself in details;
- strong problem-solving skills and are able to perform autonomously;
- a good sense of urgency, excellent prioritization skills and capable of working in a high pressure, fast moving environment;
- an innovative and creative mindset.
