Onze partner is op zoek naar een R&D Product Developer om hun R&D team te versterken. Dit gerenommeerd productiebedrijf gelegen in de regio **Leuven** is internationaal actief binnen de **voedingsindustrie** en staat bekend omwille van hun aandacht voor innovatie en kwaliteit.

**Jouw verantwoordelijkheden?**

Als R&D Product Developer krijg je de **verantwoordelijkheid over de ontwikkeling van industriële recepturen op maat van de klant en werk je zelf proactieve concepten uit**. Jouw takenpakket bestaat uit een aantal gevarieerde activiteiten:

- Zelfstandig leiden, plannen en uitvoeren van **ontwikkelingsprojecten** die voortkomen uit vragen van klanten
- Bijdrage leveren aan de **ontwikkeling van nieuwe innovatieve proactieve producten**:

- Het begrijpen, respecteren en toepassen van de **R&D processen**:

- Op de hoogte blijven van **nieuwe technologieën** op het gebied van verwerking van ingrediënten en productie van levensmiddelen, wetgeving, voedingswaarde en etikettering, door middel van opleidingen, literatuuronderzoek, kennisoverdracht van technische gesprekken
- **Ondersteuning bieden aan andere R&D collega’s** (organoleptische evaluatie, technische problemen, brainstormen, etc.), en cross-functionele teams
- Op de hoogte blijven van de wettelijke vereisten op vlak van voedselveiligheid, kwaliteit, milieu, gezondheid en veiligheid

**Wie ben je?**

Om bovenstaande taken en verantwoordelijkheden succesvol uit te oefenen, beschik je als R&D Product Developer idealiter over een **bachelor of master in een voedingsgerelateerde **richting, bij voorkeur aangevuld met een **eerste werkervaring in de voedingsindustrie**. Bovendien heb je een **sterke interesse in productontwikkeling **en ben je communicatief vaardig in het **Nederlands**. Daarnaast heb je een **hands-on** ingesteldheid, denk je **out-of-the-box **na, en ben je **oplossingsgericht**. Tot slot ben je ook een **onafhankelijke** persoon met oog voor **nauwkeurigheid**.
