Ubike is a Brussels-based scale-up of about 15 people active in the dynamic bike leasing market.Our bike leasing offer is aimed at companies of all sizes in Belgium and Luxembourg.Our ambition: to contribute to a greener mobility, to make bicycles accessible to all and to be much more than a leasing company

**Your responsibilities**:

- You build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP/Symfony (Backend) and React (frontend) code
- You contribute to functional and technical analysis of priority IT projects of the company
- You ensure that all project work is reviewed and meets quality and accuracy requirements
- You work as a team player in an agile team with other developers with 2-week sprint
- You review the work of your colleagues through pull request

**Your profile**:

- You have knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 and some basic knowledge basic with react
- You are able to use day to day tools like git, composer, REST, json, postman, mysql, docker, swagger
- Fluent in Dutch or French, you also have a good level of English
- Organized and highly technical, you are multi-tasking and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment, with good communication skills, and to work independently while focusing on project details, timely delivery, and system quality.
- Authentically curious, you love learning and improving yourself
- You have good analytical skill: you identify workarounds to achieve our goals

**Nice to have**:

- Experienced with the Symfony framework and sulu.io CMS
- Having worked on enterprise backend in a start-up context
- Previously worked in a cloud-based environment (preferably AWS)
- Experience with React.js is a plus
- Experience with automated testing is a plus
- Ability to write and read documentation, in English
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodology
