Samsung Electronics is a Benelux organization where we work closely together as one team. Currently, we are looking for a Facility Officer in our Belgian office. This person will work together with the Facility Coordinator. As Facility Officer, you will provide assistances to ensure a smooth day to day management and operation of a building’s infrastructure and supports employees through administrative support and overseeing maintenance tasks.
**Role and Responsibilities**
**Responsibilities**
General Facility
- Ensuring an optimal maintenance of the building and its area, within the rules and regulations of the company, in order to create a safe work-environment
- Taking care of internal facilities such as repair and maintenance or related installations in the building, office supplies, office furniture, internal moves,
- Being the first point of contact for all facility related questions
- Facilitating the onboarding for new employees in regards to badges, phones, etc.
- Must be standby for security issues
Hospitality & internal events
- Managing the reception, cleaning team & external service companies
- Managing the Event Space in close co-operation with stake-holders and the Facility Manager
- Managing employee-events such as after works, Christmas-party, BBQ, etc.
- Being responsible for ad-hoc external events, arranging catering, transport requests, etc.
Mobile Phone Management
- Being responsible for the mobile phones following the rules and regulations of the company
- Having contact with the provider and managing the contracts
- Following up on issues and requests from management & employees
- Ensuring a correct administration of the mobile phones and subscriptions
Administration
- Ensuring a correct facility administration within the rules and regulations of the company in order to create a clear overview and insight on activities
- Ad hoc reporting regarding different facility activities and projects
- Being responsible for system administration for facility services (Facility Management Information Ssystem, parking management, database management)
- In charge of vendor management: internal policies & procedures, follow-up of contracts & Service Level Agreements
**Skills and Qualifications**
**Skills and qualifications**:
- You have 5 - 8 years experience as Facility Coordinator, this is a must
- You hold a bachelor degree
- You are trilingual in Dutch, English and French
**Preferred qualifications**:
- You have a flexible and hands-on mindset
- You are able to prioritize and handle peaks in volume
- You have a mature way of behaviour
- You are a teamplayer
- You are adaptable to new responsibilities
- You are a dynamic person who can adapt easily to changes during the day and loves a challenge
