As Sales Planner in our EMEA Customer Operations team, you have a crucial role in supporting the Cinema Business Unit achieve its sales forecast numbers. You will be the first point of contact on material availability topics in a sales order context. Your key responsibilities include managing priorities within the orderbook based on your judgement on how to best achieve the forecast with the available stock and production output.
- You decide on priorities to assign material to worldwide customer orders and Barco intercompany orders, primarily for the Cinema Business Unit, balancing out different factors and aligning with relevant stakeholders.
- You collaborate closely with the sales coordination teams of the Barco local organizations and provide the teams with the latest status update with regards to material availability dates & lead times.
- You are their single point of contact for SAP-related material planning matters and for handling intercompany orders.
- You communicate priorities towards production planning for related production orders.
- You provide proactive feedback to supply chain to enable them to adapt forecast & safety stock levels.
- You handle customer and internal escalations related to material availability and create awareness within the internal Barco organization.
- You trigger and actively contribute to process improvements.
**Qualifications**:
- You ideally have a first experience in a similar position within an international, industrial environment.
- You demonstrate a willingness and confidence to make decisions regarding priority setting. At the same time, you are also able to adjust plans and priorities in response to changing circumstances and unexpected challenges.
- You have both an analytical and critical mindset, evaluating multiple factors and making informed decisions quickly and confidently.
- You have strong interpersonal skills, communicating and collaborating with a broad variety of internal stakeholders within the business unit and operational teams, and being able to motivate teams towards a certain goal.
- You can work independently, have excellent organizational skills and can keep a structured overview of your tasks.
- You are an expert in the SAP sales order & planning processes, or your aim is to become one.
- Finally, you are computer literate and fluent in English and preferably also Dutch. Knowledge of other languages is an important asset.
