As a Plant & Facilities Electrical Engineer, you are technically responsible for ensuring the continuity, safety, and efficiency of utility systems within our high-tech manufacturing facility. Your focus is on managing and optimizing critical installations, including low
- and high-voltage electrical systems, automation, and PLC-controlled systems. Through data analysis, preventive engineering, and project management, you minimize risks and ensure compliance with stringent cleanroom requirements. Your responsibilities:
- Implement and document preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Define and execute projects that drive continuous improvements in reliability, capacity, and sustainability.
- Identify the root causes of complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Monitor installations and strive to achieve maximum uptime and operational continuity.
- Train, coach, and support Plant & Facilities Technicians.
- Prepare reports related to environmental and sustainability requirements.
- Evaluate external service providers and contractors based on safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Participate in an on-call duty rotation. Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Electromechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with low
- and high-voltage electrical installations, automation systems, and PLC-controlled systems in a process industry environment.
- Experience in supervising, coaching, and managing contractors.
- High standards regarding maintenance quality, operational excellence, and safety.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a team-oriented mindset.
- Qualification as an Environmental Coordinator Level A and/or Prevention Advisor is a significant asset.
- Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is considered an advantage.
