System Integration and Workflow Specialist

For this position you would be working with our client from the European institutions. DIGIT A, in partnership with Commission services and other stakeholders, provides high quality corporate Business Solutions (Information Systems), common frameworks and interoperable, reusable components enabling the successful implementation of the Commission's Digital Transformation and EU policies.
DIGIT.A.4 builds, operates and supports re-usable solutions, promoting their use in information systems both in DIGIT and in the rest of the Commission. The reusable solutions are either developed internally or based on open source software, tailored to the needs of the European Commission.

**Your role**:

- Deliver a set of processes that would populate a search engine with API metadata coming from any API Gateway used in the EC context (on premises based on WSO2, or cloud based).
- Additionally, it aims at providing the user interface allowing to search over those metadata, from any keyword, method name, security policy, etcand to find out a list of relevant APIs, in the purpose of improving the reusability of software and the governance of IT assets.

**Who we think you are**:

- Experience in creation of APIs
- Web security and API management.
- Knowledge or experience in WSO2 API Manager
- Solid experience in UNIX bash and system administration is mandatory.
- Good knowledge in cloud platforms and standards (Open Shift, Open Stack, Cloud Foundry) is a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of HTTP and API design
- Excellent knowledge of JEE and REST or SOAP APIs.,
- Excellent knowledge of at least one BPMN workflow engine.,
- Excellent knowledge of asynchronous communication and publish/subscribe techniques and technologies: Apache Kafka, JMS.,
- Excellent knowledge of integration testing best practices.,
- Good knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and cloud native architectures.,
- Good knowledge of distributed or microservice architectures and complex event processing.,
- Good knowledge in Web security, OAuth2.0 and OpenID Connect.,
- Experience in Prometheus and Grafana.
- Working experience with the Support and ticketing tools: ServiceNow is a plus.
- Working experience with the following tools: JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, Nexus, Crucible, Jenkins and Sonar, is a plus
- Experience in release management tools and continuous deployment tools.
